SUMMARY:Workshop: Choosing a Lens – Mike Robinson
DESCRIPTION:\nTopic: Choosing a Lens\n\n \nPresenter: Mike Robinson\n \nDate: February 22, 2020\n\n\n“What lens should I buy next?” If you’ve ever asked this question, this workshop is for you. With so many lenses to choose from, with different focal lengths, apertures, and price points, the options can be overwhelming. We’ll start with the basics of lenses, different focal lengths and apertures, and then discuss what lenses are best suited for photographing different types of subjects. Whether you have a particular specialty in mind, or are just looking for the next lens to add to your bag, you’ll learn how to select a lens that’s right for your photography and your budget.\n\n\n\n\nThere’s no need to bring a camera or laptop, this isn’t a hands-on session.\n\nAbout your instructor: Mike Robinson has been snapping photos for decades, but dove into the world of DSLR photography in 2013 with a Canon Rebel T3. Five camera bodies and dozens of lenses later, I’m even more passionate about photography, and happy to share what I’ve learned along the way.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTime: 9:00 am until noon\nRegistration\nYou can register in advance via the members’ portal on the website or by paying cash at the door. Please note that the cost for a workshop is $15.00 and exact change is appreciated.\n\n\n
