DESCRIPTION:\nTopic: Life Appreciation Photography – Part 2 of 2 \n \nPresenter: Steve Balke\n \nDate: October 31, 2020\n\nhttp://www.lifeappreciationphotography.com ( http://www.lifeappreciationphotography.com )\nIntroduction – The Life Appreciation Photography of Steve Balke\nA perspective on who we really are: photographs appreciating the beauty and diversity of life that surrounds us.\n\nPhotography enables us to recognize, enjoy and understand life around us. How to do this for lifeforms other than our own is the subject of this workshop. Birds and other animals, bugs, flowers, plants and trees are all included. This workshop will be delivered in two parts.\nPart II:  Life Appreciation Photography:  Image Capture, Post Processing and Identifying the Subjects\nLife Appreciation Photography often involves capturing images of lifeforms in non-ideal photography situations (e.g. while walking in the woods). Photographing active subjects in uncontrolled environments means successfully accommodating particular limitations in our camera/lens and post-processing software. Steve presents how he attempts to do this and invites discussion. Since identification of the subjects is important to learning more about them, Steve examines the use of a cell phone. If you have your camera and cell phone handy during the workshop, you will have a chance to photograph images on your screen to test these ideas. After the workshop you will all be able to download notes containing the text of the main slides..\n\n\n\n\n \nTime: 9:00 am until 10:30 am\nFor MCC Members:\nThe cost of each Workshop is $15, paid through the online registration system in the Members’ portal.
