Re-enactment of the War of 1812
Please join us for our first Outing of the 2026-2027 season!!!!!! Saturday, September 19, 2026 11am – 1:30pm Bradley House Museum. This is a wonderful opportunity to mingle with other MCC members and enjoy some photography and history in our own backyard! Not only is there a battle re-enactment but there are period musicians, blacksmith and early 19th century merchants to photograph. You will have an opportunity to wander through the displays and vendors. Outing leader Kevin White will suggest good spots for photography of the re-enactment which begins around noon.
Gathering for National Truth and Reconciliation Day hosted by Eagle Spirits of the Great Waters.
Please join us for a wonderful photographic opportunity! Saturday, September 26, 2026 10:30am-4:00pm Small Arms Inspection Building. Enjoy getting together with fellow photographers for sharing and tips and chatter as you wander through this unique cultural experience. Photograph Indigenous dancers, drummers, singers, and the Indigenous artisan market. This event is intimate in scale, offering close range and multiple angles to capture performers in action. Past Gatherings have included First Nations, Metis, and Inuit performers. Your outing leader Cathleen will explain the protocols for respectful photography at Indigenous community events. A performance schedule will be posted on-site so you don’t miss anything. Indigenous inspired food will be available to purchase.
Registration is now open on the MCC website.
