Past Outings – Crieff Hills Retreat Centre

On Saturday, October 18, 2025, the Mississauga Camera Club hosted an outing to Crieff Hills Retreat Centre, just east of Cambridge. 16 MCC photographers spent the day wandering the grounds of the 250 acres, exploring lush farmland, the fall colours, historic buildings and a working farm. We were greeted by Emily O’Brien the farmer at Crieff Hills and she gave us the opportunity to photograph the farm animals – pigs and sheep and chickens. Also on site was a labyrinth and numerous walking paths, all leading to some wonderful photographic opportunities. Crieff Hills is a hidden gem in southern Ontario, open to the public and the host of conferences and retreats. A special thank you to Michael Lemiski for introducing us to this beautiful site and for leading our outing. We look forward to returning in the spring to meet the new lambs!
