Outing – Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada
Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada
2026 began with an outing for MCC members to the Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada on Tuesday, January 13. The group of 14 was on the GO train at 8 am in order to be first in line at the aquarium – hoping to get ahead of the school groups that would follow later in the morning. The leader of the outing, Heather Doyle, was able to secure entry for most of the group, complements of Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada. We stopped at many of the displays to photograph the marine life and aquatic creatures. We spent lots of time at the lagoon, the shark tunnel, on the moving sidewalk, watching the stingrays and ending at the fabulous jellyfish. Once again, the participants shared their camera settings and hints for sharp images. As always, it was wonderful to enjoy the fellowship and friendship of MCC members, and to get to know each other as we shared our experiences. Thanks to Heather Doyle and Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada for a fabulous first outing of 2026!
