Mississauga Camera Club Outing.
Hawk Therapy and Lunch and Trails at Crieff Hills Retreat Centre
7098 Concession 1
Puslinch, ON N0B 2J0
Leader – Mike Lemiski
10:00 – arrival at picnic shelter
10:30 – 12:00 – Hawk Therapy with Heather who will bring Marshall the Harris’s hawk and Astrid the peregrine falcon
Heather will do an information session and then walk through the trails with her birds, presenting lots of opportunities to photograph the birds at rest and in flight. She will have an extra glove so brave participants can hold the hawks (at Heather’s discretion).
No dogs allowed in the area with the hawks, so please leave your pup at home.
12:00 – Lunch
Lunch will be in the old school house dining hall and is “farm to table” prepared by the on-site chef. Special dietary needs will be accommodated however they do not guarantee a nut free kitchen. (Please advise me if you have any dietary restrictions)
After lunch – enjoy the trails, the farm animals, the labyrinth, the gardens…
Registration:
Registration is open on the website portal.
As this outing is limited to a maximum of 15 participants, you will want to register early, as this is first come first served. If you are amongst the first 15 registrations you will receive directions as to where to e-transfer the $68. Once we reach 15 registrations, a waitlist will be made.
Hope to see you for some Hawk Therapy!
