Workshop: The Macro Dimension – Peter Van Rhijn
This workshop teaches photography with macro lenses. It touches on the requirements and technical aspects of the equipment, the details which make macro quite different from landscape photography, and the little pitfalls the photographer will have to anticipate.
The highly unusual images we see when looking through a long macro lens look like images from another dimension: The Macro Dimension.
I started in photography with a passion for wild orchids and this quickly grew to include many small subjects on the ground.
Building photographic expertise ‘from the ground up’ may be unusual but it is an approach I highly recommend.
The workshop will conclude with a brief AV.
