Introduction to Competitions
Members can participate in any of the photo competitions during the club year and they earn points that accumulate toward annual Club Awards. Winners receive their trophies in June and are allowed to take home until the following June.
The club typically has 3 types of competitions; Digital, Flowers, and Print. However, this year the Print competition is on hold.
In the Digital and Print Competitions, each member competes in either the Entrant, Intermediate or Advanced Level, and as they achieve success in the competetions will be eligible to advance to a higher Level.
There is a specific award given in the Flowers Competition, so those scores do not count towards regular club awards. All members compete at the same level in this Competition.
