Date: February 7, 2026
Time: 9 AM to Noon

Location: Lucy Turnball Room, Mississauga Seniors’ Centre, 1389 Cawthra Road

Organizer: Janice Perkins

Leader: Jon Clarke

What You’ll Learn

  • Getting the most from your speedlights – both on and off camera
  • Using strobes to enhance your images
  • Make your subject stand out from the background
  • Show your subject (i.e. product photography) in a realistic, yet creative and pleasing way
  • Using flash to create drama by controlling shadows
  • We will show examples of product photography, travel photography, macro, still life, and people photography: portraits, fashion, and beauty.

This workshop will include a lot of demonstrations.
This is the first workshop of two.
This first one sets up the foundation for a follow-up that will be very hands-on.
