We began life as the Lorne Park Camera Club. Meetings were held in the Lorne Park Public School, and then we moved to the Lorne Park Community Hall in 1958.

Then we evolved to the South Peel Camera Club in 1963, and meeting were held Applewood United Church. Then in 1963 we moved to the Texaco Room at the Port Credit Public Library.

We grew along with the City and became the Mississauga Camera Club in 1982, and moved into the Mississauga Seniors’ Centre on February 1 , 2007. The COVID pandemic did not dampen our spirits in 2019 as we moved indoors and held Zoom meetings. We continue the tradition of both Zoom and In-Person meetings.
